"GUJJU-tisation" of a PHOREN dish!!!

It seems wierd. I mean how many times have you actually eaten a Mexican dish, or an Italian dish or any other Intercontinental dish for that matter; without actually it having the original taste.

If any of those countrymen to whom the this originally belonged ever come down and tasted the dishes made here, they would surely commit suicide or to the least give up cooking themselves!

The pioneers of this trend in cooking have to be the "GUJARATI's". Any goddamn dish of the world and they have an Indianised version of it! Or rather to be more specific, a GUJJU-cised version of it. All complete with masaledar and chatpata khazana by the spoonfuls!

And this I am not writing all of a sudden out of the blue. I myself experience the beauty of the GUJJU-cisation in all its glory, myself being a gujju! Today itself I had the all-famous mexican dish - TACOS - at my place for dinner. And guess what, it was all in GUJJU glory. The supposed Kidney Beans in it were all made wid onion et al, as if it was the normal chana that we consume at the thelawallah. I pitied the fate of the TACOS!

All that i wished at that moment was - when will i ever eat a decent plate of 'original' Tacos? I had hoped to have atleast something that i can relate to its originality. All I can say is that not even the supposed 'puri' was not original. It was a mixture of the 'sukha puri' , and the likes.

I am just waiting for the day when I can actually have a taste of the original at my place. Until then i presume i have to survive with the "GUJJU-tisation" of a PHOREN dish!!!

nowadays m so decked up that i just can come and write blogs!!
and guess what.....I am already addicted to it!!

now m so goddamn decked up wid our last few projects....
that i juz need to BREAKFREE sumhow...!!

the projects r damn fun neways....so it really aint such a big deal...!!
and to add to the fun you get to command the whole of the FY batch....
there really cant be something so good..!!

but then the projects r so hectic and demanding!
it seems theres always something more that you can do to improve n place yourself better.......!!

life cant be worse (or rather better).....!!
love it the way it is...

yes...there are always complications...!!
but then too i love it....
living it to the fullest and more importantly...

LIVING IT ACCORDING TO ME.....
AND THAT IS WHAT REALLY MATTERS......!!!

well...i wanna write today also and make it a regular practice! But then now i think what am i possibly gonna write on everyday???

yaaaa!!!! I no what I can write on!

Today guys from MTv came at my college. It was for a shoot of the new 'revamped' version of "MTv Kya Baat Hain"! They needed good speakers to speak out there on the dias.

and when it comes to good speakers...what better place to look for than in the TYBMM batch of our college?

So here we were, some 10 of us. 8 of whom were from my class and two from the FY!

There comes the Big and Burly, Cyrus Broacha!! Of the 10, 3 of us get lapel (dats a hidden mike for all you dumbasses out there!) and theres one rotating mike for the rest 7. This clearly means that the three get to speak the most!! And ofcourse, I was one amongst the three!!

**PHEW** It saved me from a lotta "Gimme the mike" stuff!!

Well, so heres Cyrus, who has apparently borrowed Nikhil Chinnappa's body for the show. He comes and tells us the topic, "Discrimination". It includes all types of discrimination set upon the people by the Indian society. Caste, Class, Gender and all that blah!

He puts forth the Shilpa Shetty discrimination Issue and comes down to discrimination in India. I, ofcourse take the start with me being counteracted by Esha V! (God Save me!).

The discussion goes on for a good 15 minutes or so. there are all our friends constantly watching us. There are two cameras constantly on the watch for speak-and-i-shoot-you shit. And to add to it theres Cyrus's humour!

Ah! You cant expect a better mixture!

There are a lot of points and counter-points. We go on like untamed wolves, with Cyrus of course trying damn hard to save the race!!

He eventually manages to do that and finally ends the discussion with a general 'non-conclusive' statement! What a masquarade it was! But worth all the fun!

We do the usual click a photo stuff with Cyrus. He leaves. Hopefully he 'll return Nikhils body!

And here we are...again out there to eat up half the world!!!

writing wid " H O P E " . . . ! ! !

lol...here I go again!! I just had completed ariting a blog and was going to publish it. I tried to format it. and then....

i select all and press the space bar. everything that i typed is gone.

this is seriously the most disgusting thing u can expect when you have actually completed writing the whole goddamn blog!!

Well, it has a positive side too i suppose. You get more data to write in the newer blog. and more importantly you can add the other blog too!! VOILA!

Well, firstly, let me thank the one eprson who inspired and encouraged me to write a blog!

1. Blogger should work exactly the way I m thinking it should.
2. I continue to write n blog.
3. This blog shouldnt be erased like the first one.

5. More importantly, I should like the experience.
